ANTHROPOLOGY
Unfinished is a podcast made in partnership with the Western Center for Social Impact and Innovation, from Miami University. It tells the story of how matsutake mushrooms disappeared from Japan, where they are loved, and appeared in an old forest in Oregon, where an abandoned timber industry was located. This mushroom is considered one of the most expensive delicacies in the world and its controlled production is almost impossible. The podcast reflects on climate changes and on the end of the world with the help of matsutake and their million years partners, the pines.
